  • Using beads for stringing, hammer and nails, pegboards, play-doh, pencils, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, puzzles, construction toys, blocks and other materials to enhance fine motor development
  • Recognizing and discussing health hazards such as poor nutrition and seat belt safety

V. Spiritual Development

  • Reciting opening prayer and grace at snack time
  • Observing nature as God's creation (shells, rocks, leaves, butterfly life cycle)

  • Using sequential lessons from Come Follow Me, (a religion readiness program)

  17. Counting objects up to 10 with understanding
  18. Matching one to one correspondence
  19. Identifying four basic shapes (circle, square, rectangle, triangle)
  20. Identifying primary and secondary colors
  21. Exhibiting hand dominance
